Magical Roe is a clown who was Snow's babysitter when she was younger by order of Diana. While being Snow's caretaker, he quickly became Snow's best friend, and the two grew very close to each other.
[edit] War Games
Years later, Magical Roe was sent into the War Games in order to kidnap Snow. During this round, he tells Snow that he didn't join the Chess Pieces, he was with them from the start. After Snow used Undine to destroy Magical Roe's Nightmare, he successfully made off with Snow during the 6th Round, much to his reluctancy. Thus, Magical Roe won by default.
[edit] Post-War Games
While Team MÄR stormed Lestava Castle, Magical Roe fought off Nanashi, Alan, and Gaira to prevent them from reaching Snow. In the anime adaption, instead he fought Alan and Ginta Toramizu, and after defeat, Magical Roe regained his senses, and sacrificed his life in order to save Snow from the Queen's Darkness ÄRM, attoning for his wrongdoings towards the princess.

Little is known about Magical Roe's personality, besides that he cares deeply for Princess Snow.

Magical Roe uses circus-themed ÄRM:
- Blade Ball: A Weapon ÄRM that creates a ball with sharp blades extending from it.
- Flare Wheel: A Nature ÄRM that create flame hoops to attack the target. Destroyed during his battle with Snow.
- Bubble Leo: A Nature ÄRM that resembles a bubble hoop creating lion-shaped bubbles to attack.
- Mimic Medallion: A Dimension ÄRM that mimics the ability of an opponent's ÄRM (i.e summons the same Guardian his opponent's ÄRM calls, but their power differ in accordance to the user's power).
- Trump Soldier: A Guardian ÄRM that creates card soldiers. Outlines of these soldiers can be seen in the backround of the cover spread of the first chapter.
- Nightmare: A Guardian ÄRM that creates many eyed, sharp-toothed spherical objects, which fly around and attack.
